Large Mounting Bracket Kit for Rooftop Tents

This kit is a larger version of the standard mounting brackets supplied with every EDGE Overland rooftop tent. Roof bars come in many shapes and sizes, and the standard brackets work with roof bars that measure between 30 and 70 mm in width. If your bars exceed this size, the tent cannot sit tight and potential movement can appear. This might become a concern on long trips.

The large mounting bracket kit gives you a clean and safe fix. You just replace the original brackets with these extended versions, and then the tent fits wide bars as it should. The load spreads evenly, because the clamp sits flat and then the tent stays locked in place, even in heavy offroad use.

We offer two size options. One kit fits bars from 70 to 100 mm wide, the second kit fits bars from 90 to 120 mm wide. This range covers most heavy-duty roof racks and wide aftermarket cross bars. You choose the size that matches your setup. You install the kit using the same screws and hand nuts from your original mounting system. No extra hardware is needed.

Each kit includes 4 mounting brackets. These brackets are made from stainless steel, a material that is resistant to corrosion and moisture - this matters for a part that stays outside all year.
