We’ve always believed that true adventure isn’t about comfort zones - it’s about pushing limits, chasing freedom, and living life wide open. That’s why when we met Arūnas “Aras” Gibieža, we knew right away that he was one of us.
Aras doesn’t just ride motorcycles, he lives them. Born in 1989 in Vilnius, Lithuania, he was only 10 when his grandfather handed him the keys to a small Suzuki RG50 scooter. Most kids that age are still learning to ride a bicycle, but Aras was already learning balance, throttle control, and what it means to find harmony between man and machine. Within weeks, he was on one wheel - the first glimpse of the stunt legend he’d become. By 16, Aras had bought his first superbike, a Yamaha R6, and began competing across the Baltics and Europe. He loved racing, but there was something missing - something more creative, raw, and expressive. That’s when stunt riding entered the picture. He bought another bike, a Suzuki GSX600R, and started tuning it for precision and control. What followed was the start of a career that would take him to the world stage and cement his name among the best riders ever to balance on one wheel.
In 2013, Aras became an official Red Bull athlete, a milestone that marked his arrival among the elite of extreme sports. That same year, he won the European Stunt Riding Championship, proving that his mix of skill, creativity, and control was unmatched. Since then, he’s collected titles, trophies, and accolades, including a Guinness World Record for the longest no-hands motorcycle wheelie achieved in 2023. But for us, what makes Aras special isn’t just what he’s done - it’s how he does it. There’s a relentless energy in everything he does, whether he’s performing in front of thousands or training in silence. He’s not chasing fame or applause; he’s chasing progress. That’s the same philosophy that drives us, and that’s why this partnership makes sense!

Both of us believe that the best experiences happen when you step away from the ordinary, whether that’s on two wheels or four. Today, Aras drives a RAM pickup equipped with our Horizon One rooftop tent and Infinity 270 freestanding car awning. For him, this setup isn’t a prop, it’s part of his lifestyle. Between training sessions, travel, and family time, his vehicle is both a home and a basecamp. Whether he’s chasing waves for a quick surf session, teaching his kids how to ride, or parking up somewhere deep in nature, he’s got everything he needs packed into that RAM.
Between the shows, tours, and championships, he always finds time to disconnect and enjoy the simple things - loading up the truck, heading out to the coast, and spending a few days outdoors with his wife and kids. He’s a surfer, a traveler, and an adventurer at heart. You’ll find him on a trail one week, in the mountains the next, or relaxing by the water - with the surfboard strapped to his Horizon One rooftop tent. That’s where we see the true spirit of EDGE Overland. It’s not just about off-road performance or product specs - it’s about creating moments. The kind you remember years later because they made you feel alive.
Through his freestyle shows, workshops, and events, he’s constantly inspiring others to get out there, to test themselves, and to never settle. He’s also deeply connected to his roots, supporting the next generation of riders through his own “Aras Freestyle” initiative back in Lithuania. We admire that about him - his drive to give back, to teach, and to keep the spirit of two-wheel freedom alive.

Aras has never been one to stay in one place for long, and that’s exactly what we admire most about him. Whether he’s chasing a new record, carving lines on his surfboard, or spending a quiet evening outdoors with his family, he approaches every moment with the same focus and energy that define his riding. From the world’s biggest stages - from performing his breathtaking stunts at MotoGP races and major international events - to quiet forest roads where he camps with his kids, Aras lives a life that constantly shifts between full-throttle intensity and complete calm.
For us, seeing our rooftop tent and car awning become part of that rhythm is the greatest reward. They’re not just accessories, they’re part of his story, part of the freedom that drives him forward. Aras reminds us that adventure doesn’t always need a map or a finish line. Sometimes, it’s just about getting out there, setting up camp, opening the awning, and watching the day fade into night.
