Perrine is no ordinary traveler; she’s a physiotherapist and firefighter who traded the stability of her career for the open road, setting off on an epic solo overland expedition around the globe with her loyal companion, Nomad, a spirited and equally adventurous husky.

For over a decade, Perrine’s life was spent on the water, exploring the world by boat. But after ten years, she felt a pull to experience the world in a new way, from a different perspective. The land called to her, and she answered, purchasing a Nissan Patrol she affectionately calls “PAT.” For the next three years, she and PAT traveled across Europe, including an unforgettable humanitarian expedition across Morocco’s sandy tracks. An athlete at heart, Perrine is always in motion. From kitesurfing to CrossFit, she thrives on physical challenges, and this overland adventure is the perfect way to combine her love for the outdoors with her athletic nature.

In 2024, after many years of helping others - whether by healing as a sports physiotherapist or rescuing lives as a firefighter - Perrine boldly decided to quit her jobs and fully commit to her greatest passion: overland travel. Now, she’s setting out on her most ambitious journey yet - a grand expedition that will take her from her home in France, across the historic Silk Road to Mongolia, and down through the Middle East, from Iran to Oman, and many other places throughout Asia. For the next 2 years, she’ll be exploring the breathtaking landscapes and sharing the experience via her YouTube channel for everyone to enjoy. This journey isn’t just about the destinations, but about embracing the adventure along the way.

For her world expedition, Perrine decided to go with EDGE Overland, equipping her Nissan Patrol with the Explore One rooftop tent, a versatile and rugged setup that includes roof bars for mounting extra gear like solar panels and a Starlink, and a thermal insulation suit for colder days. In making this switch, Perrine chose to replace her previous James Baroud tent with EDGE Overland’s gear due to its superior ruggedness and greater customizability, perfectly suited for the demanding environments she'll face on her journey. From the tent she’ll sleep in, to the awning she’ll use for shade and protection from bad weather, her gear is built to last - and Perrine couldn’t be more excited to showcase its durability. Her hands-on experience with the equipment, paired with her knowledge as an overlander, will provide valuable feedback to fellow explorers.

But Perrine’s journey isn’t a solo one. By her side is Nomad, her husky companion. Nomad is more than just a pet - he’s a fellow adventurer who shares Perrine’s love for the wild. Together, they’ve trekked countless miles, explored remote trails, and experienced the joy of freedom only the open road can provide. Whether it’s hiking a mountain trail or navigating a desert landscape, Nomad is always by her side, his spirit of adventure as unbreakable as Perrine’s. Along the way, she’ll be sharing her stories and experiences through her social media, giving the world a front-row seat to her journey. Under the handle “Nomad’s Trip,” she’ll be documenting everything, from the beauty of untouched landscapes to the gritty realities of overlanding life.
 

With her years of experience in healthcare and emergency response, Perrine is no stranger to overcoming challenges. She’s tackled emergencies head-on and knows the importance of staying calm under pressure - skills that will undoubtedly come in handy during her trip. Perrine's story is one of transformation, courage, and the pursuit of passion.
